My UK tour of From Old Bean Grows Bak Choy continues, with the next stops in Castleford and Northampton. The performance in Castleford is organised by Hkers Meet-up Cafe@Castleford and seats can be reserved here. The performance in Northampton is an internal event.

I’m privileged to be part of HONG KONG STORIES• UK STAGES 2025, a theatre series showcasing the works of Hong Kong artists across the UK. My solo performance From Old Bean Grows Bak Choy will take place on 12 October 2025 at Cheam Library, Sutton Central Library. Stay tuned for booking details.

From Old Bean Grows Bak Choy lands in Vancouver 六月溫哥華巡演
I'm thrilled to bring From Old Bean Grows Bak Choy to Vancouver in June, meeting with new audiences in a city rich with stories, migration and history. Alongside the tour, I also presented the work as a piece of auto-ethnographic research at the IDIERI Conference, joining conversations on performed research with drama educators and applied theatre practitioners around the world.
很興奮能將 From Old Bean Grows Bak Choy 帶到溫哥華，與這座充滿故事、移民和歷史的城市中的新觀眾見面。除了巡演外，我也在IDIERI會議上以「自傳式民族誌研究」的形式發表此作品，參與關於表演研究、離散等議題的討論，與來自全球的戲劇教育者、應用劇場實踐者作交流。

After a heartfelt tour across Taiwan, my solo performance From Old Bean Grows Bak Choy landed in the UK for the first time! Thank you to Read First Bookshop for the invitation, which gave me the chance to meet a warm and committed audience at their shop in Manchester.

Advanced Workshop on Applied Drama in Global Citizenship Education, Taipei 台北「世界公民教育的戲劇實踐」進階工作坊
The 3-day advanced workshop has successfully concluded! Participants from diverse backgrounds explored the core elements of drama and their application in addressing social issues. The workshop also included follow-up coaching support to assist participants in enhancing existing drama programmes or developing new educational initiatives.
三天的「世界公民教育的戲劇實踐」進階工作坊圓滿結束！來自不同領域的參與者一同深入探討戲劇的基本元素與運用方式，理解戲劇情境設定與社會議題的關係。 課程提供後續 coaching 支援，幫助優化現有戲劇活動，或設計全新的教育體驗。

From Old Bean Grows Bak Choy was presented at GUTTA Books & Coffee in Taipei — a small, intimate space that felt like the perfect match for the themes and tone of this solo performance.

Introductory Workshop on Applied Drama in Global Citizenship Education, Taipei 台北「世界公民教育的戲劇實踐」初階工作坊
Practitioners from education, social work and advocacy gathered in this one-day workshop to explore social issues through Process Drama. Participants gained first-hand experience in the drama activities and took part in an interactive lecture to deepen their understanding of Process Drama design and facilitation skills. A learning journey rich in dialogue and critical reflection.
來自教育、社工與倡議領域的夥伴，參與一天的工作坊，一起透過「過程戲劇」探索社會議題，除了親身體驗戲劇活動，更通過互動講座，深入了解教案設計與引導技巧，共同創造一場富有對話與思辨的學習旅程。

Performance and Talk at National University of Tainan 國立臺南大學演出暨演講
I shared From Old Bean Grows Bak Choy with the faculty and students of the Department of Theatre Arts and Applied Drama at the National University of Tainan, followed by a lecture on how this solo performance uses creative practice as a research method through auto-ethnographic performance research.
為臺灣國立臺南大學戲劇創作與應用學系的師生，分享From Old Bean Grows Bak Choy，並進行講座，解釋這個獨腳戲如何以創作為研究方法，進行「自述民族誌式表演研究」。
